Future Vision
Future Vision is an innovative eye care program designed to address the pressing issue of visual impairment among children living in deprived communities in Nigeria. With a mission to improve the overall eye health and well-being of these vulnerable children, Future Vision aims to provide comprehensive eye care services, including early detection, treatment, and preventive measures. By implementing a sustainable and community-centered approach, the program seeks to create a brighter future for these children, empowering them with improved vision and enhanced educational opportunities.
Current Situation:
Visual impairment is a significant challenge affecting children in deprived communities across Nigeria. Limited access to quality eye care services, lack of awareness about preventive measures, and financial constraints further exacerbate the problem. This situation has far-reaching consequences, hindering children’s academic performance, social integration, and overall quality of life.
Program Objectives:
- Early Detection, Treatment and Corrective Measures: Provide access to comprehensive eye care services, including eye screening, eyeglasses, medication, and surgery, as needed, to improve children’s visual acuity and overall eye health.
- Preventive Measures: Conduct community-wide awareness campaigns to educate parents, caregivers, and teachers about the importance of eye health, hygiene, and preventive measures to reduce the prevalence of visual impairments.
- Capacity Building: Train and equip local healthcare providers, teachers, and volunteers with the necessary skills to support the implementation of the eye care program effectively.

Sick Kids Appeal
Sick Kids Appeal is an innovative online platform dedicated to supporting sick children in Nigeria who are unable to afford the payments of their medical bills. With the aim of providing financial assistance, emotional support, and a sense of community, Sick Kids Appeal seeks to alleviate the burden faced by families dealing with the medical needs of their children. By harnessing the power of technology and compassionate collaboration, this platform aims to create a network of support for these vulnerable children and their families.
Current Situation:
In Nigeria, many families face the distressing challenge of insufficient financial resources to cover the medical expenses incurred by their sick children. This dire situation often results in delayed or inadequate healthcare, further compromising the well-being and recovery of these children. There is an urgent need for a comprehensive and sustainable solution that addresses the financial burden faced by these families and provides a support system to improve the children’s access to essential medical care.
Program Objectives:
- Financial Assistance: Establish a crowdfunding mechanism through the Sick Kids Appeal platform to raise funds for sick children’s medical expenses, including hospital bills, medication, surgeries, and specialized treatments.
- Advocacy and Awareness: Raise awareness about the financial struggles faced by families of sick children in Nigeria, advocating for improved healthcare policies, increased public support, and enhanced access to affordable medical services.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare institutions, NGOs, corporate entities, and philanthropic individuals to expand the reach and impact of the Sick Kids Appeal, ensuring a collective effort towards alleviating the financial burden on families.

Hospital Visitation
The Monthly Hospital Visitation Program is a compassionate initiative designed to bring joy, comfort, and emotional support to sick children receiving treatment in hospitals across Nigeria. Recognizing the challenging and often isolating experience of being hospitalized, especially for children, this program aims to create a regular and engaging environment that uplifts their spirits, enhances their well-being, and promotes a positive healing journey. By establishing a consistent presence and offering interactive activities, the program seeks to provide respite, emotional connection, and a sense of normalcy for these young patients.
Current Situation:
Hospitals can be overwhelming and distressing environments for sick children, leading to increased stress, anxiety, and feelings of loneliness. Limited resources and staff constraints often make it challenging to provide comprehensive emotional support and engage children in meaningful activities during their hospital stays. There is a pressing need for a structured program that focuses on regular visitation and creates a positive and stimulating environment for these vulnerable children, thereby improving their mental well-being.
Program Objectives:
- Regular Visitation: Establish a monthly visitation schedule to ensure a consistent presence and engage with sick children in hospitals across Nigeria, providing them with emotional support, companionship, and encouragement throughout their treatment journey.
- Interactive Activities: Organize age-appropriate and engaging activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, music, games, and educational sessions that promote creativity, learning, and social interaction, helping to alleviate the boredom and monotony of hospital life.
- Emotional Support: Train and deploy a team of volunteers who are compassionate, empathetic, and skilled in providing emotional support to sick children and their families, fostering a supportive and caring environment within the hospital setting.
